South Punjab Secretariat
Establishment of South Punjab Secretariat is not only a landmark decision in the administrative history of Punjab government but it is also a historic initiative of the Government that would bring numerous opportunities for the people of South Punjab resulting in socio-economic growth of the entire country.
Having achieved the milestone of approval of amendments in the Punjab Government Rules of Business 2011, South Punjab Secretariat has started functioning in full swing. South Punjab Secretariat has completed more than two years of its establishment and it gives an immense pleasure to state that the departments of South Punjab have started functioning to their fullest capacity as envisaged by the Provincial Government.
Due to Ring Fencing, the amount allocated for South Punjab would be utilized in South Punjab. This landmark initiative would remove the sense of deprivation in in South Punjab by ensuring equal distribution of resources.
